Read the wiki in the app
Open More, then Wiki, to read what your managers share. When a page asks, select Acknowledge to confirm you've read it.
Your managers share guides, procedures and policies in the wiki, such as how to open up or what to wear. You read it in the Shift Amp app, under the More tab (three dots). Some pages ask you to confirm that you've read them.
Find a page
- Select the More tab (three dots).
- Select Wiki. A number beside it shows how many pages are waiting for you to confirm them.
- Select a page to read it.
Pinned pages come first, then the pages updated most recently. You see only the pages your managers shared with you, for example with everyone at your location or with everyone in your position.
Confirm you've read a page
- In the wiki, select a page marked "Needs acknowledgement".
- Read the page. Near the top, it says "Please confirm you’ve read this page."
- Select Acknowledge.
The page now shows when you acknowledged it. Your managers can see who has confirmed a page and when.
If a manager changes a page and asks everyone to read it again, it's marked "Needs acknowledgement" again and says "This page changed — please read it again and confirm." Read it, then select Acknowledge again.
Links in a page
- A link to another wiki page opens that page.
- A link to a website opens in your phone's browser.
- A link to a page that isn't shared with you shows as plain text.
If a page won't open
"Page unavailable" means the page was archived, or it isn't shared with you anymore. Select All wiki pages to go back to the list. If you think you should see a page, ask your manager.
You can't change wiki pages in the app. If something is out of date, tell your manager.
