Cancel or change your plan

For managersUpdated 2 min read

There's one plan, and your bill follows your roster: archive people to lower it. To cancel, the owner emails Shift Amp support.

Shift Amp has one plan, so there's nothing to upgrade or downgrade. What you pay follows the people on your roster, and you lower it by archiving people who've left. Canceling isn't something you can do in the app: an organization owner emails Shift Amp support.

There's one plan

Shift Amp doesn't sell tiers. Every organization gets everything the product does, and no feature is held back. There's no seat count to edit either: your bill is based on your billable members. See How billing works.

Lower your bill

Archive people who no longer work for you. See Archive or restore someone.

  • Someone you archive still counts for the current billing period, and stops counting from the next one.
  • There's no refund or credit for the rest of the period.
  • Hiding someone from the schedule doesn't lower your bill. Hidden people still count.
  • Changing someone's role never changes your bill.

Owners can check the effect on the Billing page. Archived this period shows how many archived people still count, how many members to expect next period, and what that count costs each month. In the People directory, owners also see a Counts this period badge on archived people who still count.

Add people after billing is set up

Your bill grows as your roster does. Once billing is set up, you can add people without being stopped again, as long as your payments go through. See Fix a failed payment.

Cancel your plan

Canceling isn't self-service. The organization owner emails support@shiftamp.com, the address the Billing page gives under Changing or ending your plan. Shift Amp confirms with you what happens to your data before anything stops, and nothing is switched off in the meantime.

To delete your organization, see Close your organization.

Pausing for a season

There's no way to pause billing while your business is closed for part of the year. If that's your situation, tell Shift Amp support by email.

To change your card or billing details, see Update your card or download an invoice.
